BOS Votes to Allocate 1.69 Million to Potomac Falls for renovations!

The Board of Supervisors voted on Wednesday night to invest $1.69M at Potomac Falls High School for a turf stadium field, 2 modular classrooms and a new laundry facility.  This will help improve our community as well as the lives of countless students and student athletes for years to come.  We thank the Board for listening to our concerns, hearing our arguments, and ultimately agreeing to take a step in raising PFHS to the new standard within our County.

Special thanks to Supervisor Suzanne Volpe who took the time to meet with us one year ago to discuss our needs.  We thank her for her guidance, unyielding support and painstaking work behind the scenes to help this initiative become reality.  We look forward to our continued partnership as we seek continuous improvements at our high school.  We would also like to thank everyone at Potomac Falls who helped support us in some way, by attending meetings, speaking before the School Board and Board of Supervisors, sending emails and/or signing our Petition.  We greatly appreciate all the support!

Our mission is to “Support All Potomac Falls High School Athletic Programs through Provision of Funds Essential to Quality Interscholastic Athletics which, Enrich the High School Educational Experience.”  This vote and capital investment not only supports this mission directly but more   importantly provides the Booster Club the latitude and flexibility to invest in other areas as we continue to enhance our student athletes experience.
